Doggy Fun Park

Play time at Beechgrove Doggy Fun Park

Weekend Play Time

Weekend playtime is the perfect opportunity for your dog to socialise, learn a wide variety of skills and behaviours that will last them a lifetime… and all while having fun!

During our Weekend Playtime your dog will be given the opportunity to socialise with other dogs and have great fun making new friends as well as learning new skills.

It will also give you, as a dog owner, the chance to speak with other doggy parents, our friendly staff and gain a greater knowledge of what may be best for your much loved pet, as well as any handy tips or tricks which you can take away and apply to everyday life with your dog.

We believe that socialisation is one of the most important experiences you can give your dog. At Beechgrove we have four different enclosures which are used to match dogs by size, natures and capabilities. Before entering the Park a member of our staff will ask you to register with us. This will give our staff the chance to learn a little more about your furry friend.

Our Enclosures are divided into four main play areas;

  • Agility Area (Large/Medium Dog Area)
  • Large Dog Obstacle Area
  • Small Dog And Puppy Obstacle Area
  • Obstacle Course

After we have gained a greater knowledge of your dog, you will then be advised as to which area we feel will best suit your dog. The area we advise for you and your dog will allow them to make friends with dogs of the same size and play capabilities. By dividing the enclosures we have created a safer, more suitable environment for your dog to play and learn. Each play area is supervised by a friendly and experienced member of staff.

If you may require any assistance just look out for one of our staff dressed in bright orange - You won’t miss us! Here at Beechgrove, our aim is for your dog to have fun! However, our priority is the safety of both you and your dog which is extremely important.

For the safety of your own dog we ask that if you are planning to bring a non-neutered dog over the age of 10 months to visit at weekends, please phone on the number provided prior to starting your journey.

Intact male dogs can experience social problems; a non-neutered dog’s high testosterone level can make him the target of harassment or aggression from other male dogs, they can also have a tendency to challenge other male dogs. Pups under 10 months of age haven’t usually developed high testosterone levels yet and normally get on well in the doggy park environment. Thank you in advance for your understanding!

Females in heat should not be brought to the park until their season is completely over.
